Many organisations have dozens of cameras whose footage is recorded and never watched. Computer vision turns that footage into a number you can decide on — without anyone having to sit through hours of video.

How it runs

    Assess on real footage

    A sample of your own images is examined to establish whether the problem is solvable with the cameras you already have. If it is not, we say so then.

    Build and train the model

    The model is trained on data from that same environment. A model that performs well in a lab but has never seen your lighting and angles does not work in practice.

    Deploy and measure on site

    Real accuracy is measured in the operating environment and compared against the current process. Until that comparison exists, any claim of improvement is unsupported.

Frequently asked questions

What does computer vision actually do?

It turns images into numbers. Instead of someone watching hours of video, the system reports how many vehicles passed in a period, how many parts were defective, or how long the queue was.

Do we need new cameras?

Usually not. In most projects the existing cameras are sufficient and what is added is the processing layer. If the angle or image quality is unsuitable, that emerges during the assessment stage.

Are individuals identified?

In the projects we design, no. The output is an aggregate number: counts, queue lengths, defect rates. Identifying individuals is neither necessary nor part of our design.

How accurate is it?

It depends on the application and the image quality, and no figure can be given before seeing real samples. That is why every project starts with an assessment on your own footage, before any commitment.

Where does processing happen?

It can run on the organisation's own servers, with no images leaving the network. For many organisations that is the only acceptable option, and it is designed in from the start.
